Time-saved estimates
Input your manual task duration and Hobartlink tracks how many times the automation ran instead. Your team sees a running total of hours recovered each week — a concrete figure you can put in a board report.
Analytics
Hobartlink Analytics goes beyond run logs — it shows you time saved, error trends, and workflow ROI in terms your whole team can understand.
Knowing that 2,400 workflow runs completed last week is useful. Knowing that those runs saved your team an estimated 38 hours of manual data entry, that three specific workflows account for 80% of your error volume, and that your Monday morning spike in runs is causing rate-limit collisions with your CRM — that's actionable. Hobartlink Analytics is the layer that transforms raw execution telemetry into business-readable reports. It calculates time-saved estimates based on your own inputs (you tell us how long the manual task takes; we multiply by run count), surfaces error clustering across time periods, and flags automation patterns that are likely to cause problems before they do.
Numbers that make sense to operations managers, not just engineers.

Track average run duration over 7, 30, and 90-day windows. Detect if a workflow is slowing down — usually a sign the source API is degrading or your data volume is outgrowing the current trigger frequency.
Errors are categorised automatically: authentication failure, rate-limit hit, malformed data, or third-party timeout. A weekly digest groups these by category so you tackle the highest-impact issue first.
Hobartlink Analytics is scoped to the performance and output of your automations — it is not a general-purpose BI tool. It won't query your Xero ledger directly, or give you sales forecasting, or replace Tableau for cross-departmental reporting. If you need to correlate automation performance with external business metrics (revenue, headcount, customer NPS), the right approach is to export Hobartlink data via our API or scheduled CSV and load it into your existing BI environment. We actively encourage this pattern and our documentation covers it in detail. Results — including time-saved estimates — also depend on the accuracy of the manual-task-duration inputs your team provides.
